Overview

This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you use roiwerk.com and when you contact us, and what rights you have under the GDPR.

Data we collect

When you submit the contact form we collect your name, work email, company name, and the message you send. Our hosting provider may process technical log data such as IP address, browser type, and time of access, solely to operate and secure the website.

How we use it

We use contact-form data only to answer your enquiry and to discuss a potential engagement. Log data is used for security, stability, and abuse prevention. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Legal basis

Processing of contact requests is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries). Technical logs are processed under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Retention

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted unless a longer retention is required by law. Server logs are retained for a limited period required for security and operations.

Processors

We use hosting and delivery infrastructure (including Vercel) as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated website usage (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization. Data may be processed in the EU and, where applicable, in third countries with appropriate safeguards. You can opt out via Google Analytics opt-out tools or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
